About me as a Hypnobabies instructor:
I trained and certified as a Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis instructor and Hypnobabies doula in 2009. While I am not a hypnotherapist, I have training in hypnosis. I really love that Hypnobabies is a complete childbirth education course that teaches the pregnant mother about pregnancy, birth and post-partum and teaches her how to use effective hypnosis skills during these times. What is hypnosis?
You may hear that all hypnosis is self-hypnosis, that is true, but what does it mean? Hypnosis a state that you choose to enter, consciously or subconsciously. In fact, we enter hypnosis many times a day; while watching TV, driving, reading, drifting off to sleep and many other times. For example, many of us have arrived at our destination and don't remember driving those last few miles, our subconscious mind was driving! It remained alert to help us function while our conscious mind "relaxed" when focused on other things than driving. Hypnosis has many uses: it is used for medical and dental anesthesia and of course for childbirth.
What is Hypnobabies?
Hypnobabies is a complete childbirth education course that teaches Gerald Kine’s Painless Childbirth hypnosis techniques. Hypnobabies mothers learn how to enter hypnosis, activate their Hypno-Anesthesia to remain mobile and comfortable during birth. This technique is known as "Eyes Open Hypnosis" because the mother can eat, drink, walk and function while in hypnosis, as she maintains her comfort during birth using Hypnobabies Hypno-Anesthesia, which is a very deep hypnosis. Babies born without drugs in their systems usually breathe more easily, nurse well and interact with their families immediately.

• I serve the area from Merced to Turlock, California
• Class Information: The 6 week long class series, meets once a week for 3 to 3 1/2 hours - (18+ hours total)
• Class size is limited to 5 couples. Private classes are available
• Start on or before your 33rd week of pregnancy so there is plenty of time to learn all the Hypnobabies techniques
• Hypnobabies is a complete childbirth course. Each week covers an aspect of pregnancy and birthing with a hypnotic technique and script
• The course materials are generous and diverse; you receive a large workbook, a hypnosis scripts booklet, script downloads, class handouts and much more
